ITEM 113-1601-R1101  Authorization to Expend up to $90,000 of Computer Use Fees; The University of Montana-Western


THAT: The Board of Regents authorizes The University of Montana-Western to expend up to $90,000 of Computer Use Fees for the replacement of computer equipment in the Mac Lab and the Micro-Computer Center which are moving to the Rural Education Technology Center (RETC).

EXPLANATION: This expenditure will provide for an upgrade of the computers previously purchased for current hardware and software for the Rural Education Technology Center. Existing funds in the Computer Use Fee account will pay for this purchase, as Western has deferred upgrading equipment in these labs until the RETC opened.
