ITEM 116-1002-R0902  Grizzly Hall of Fame, Adams Center; The University of Montana - Missoula

THAT:  Consistent with the provisions of MCA 18-2-102, the Board of Regents of the Montana University System authorizes The University of Montana to implement steps necessary to increase the amount of the authority for the construction of the Grizzly Hall of Fame. The authority will be increased from $149,900 to $275,000. Funding for this project will be from private sources in the form of donations.

EXPLANATION:  The Commissioner of Higher Education previously authorized this project in the amount of $149,900. The additional funding is necessary to complete the next phase of the work which includes the display cases, signage, graphics and electronic displays.
