ITEM 116-2015-R0702    Approval of Lease of Private Facility Space for Externally Funded Research Programs; Montana State University-Bozeman

THAT: The Montana Board of Regents of Higher Education approves a lease for space in a private facility for the purpose of providing space for externally funded research programs at Montana State University-Bozeman.

EXPLANATION: The Montana Board of Regents at its May 2002 meeting approved the concept of leasing space in a private facility in order to rectify a critical space shortage at Montana State University-Bozeman.

The leased space will be used by externally-funded research programs, and all costs associated with the leased space will be covered from Facilities and Administrative (F&A) funds recovered from externally funded grants and contracts.

A final lease will be presented for approval.
