ITEM 119-2701-R0503    Student Computer Fee Allocation; Montana State University-Billings

THAT: Consistent with the provisions of Board of Regents' policy 940.23, the Board of Regents authorizes Montana State University-Billings to expend Student Computer Fee funds for the following projects that exceed the local approval threshold: 1) purchase PCs to replace old equipment in the Information Commons and College of Technology.

Total = $232,200

EXPLANATION: 1. Board of Regents' policy 940.23 requires Board approval of all purchases over $25,000. The Montana State University-Billings Student Computer Fee Committee, whose membership includes 50 percent students as required by Board policy, endorses this proposal.
