ITEM 122-102-R0104 Revise the Guidelines Determining the Level of Involvement by the Montana Board of Regents in Academic and Research Programs.

EXPLANATION: The revisions are modest. The most significant change adds certificate programs to the Level I and Level II review and approval process, since those programs were inadvertently excluded in the guidelines approved in July 2002. The language of the July 2002 revisions is also cleaned up. The specific changes are set out in the document, entitled "Determining the Level of Involvement by the Board of Regents," that accompanies this item. The revisions have been reviewed and approved by the Chief Academic Officers of the Montana University System.
