ITEM 126-1003-R0105:  Approval of Proposal to create an interdisciplinary minor in International Development Studies.

THAT: The Board of Regents authorizes The University of Montana-Missoula to offer an interdisciplinary minor in International Development Studies.

 

EXPLANATION: The University of Montana-Missoula proposes an interdisciplinary minor in International Development Studies. Students will acquire the knowledge and preparation for positions both in the United States and internationally, such as non-governmental organizations, international and bilateral government development organizations, the U.S. Peace Corps and other national/international equivalents, and community development groups.
