ITEM 126-1012-R0105  Spending Authority - Construction of New Reserch Lab Facility; The University of Montana-Missoula

THAT: Consistent with the provisions of MCA 18-2-102, the Board of Regents of Higher Education authorizes The University of Montana Missoula to construct a new research lab facility. This project estimated to cost $3,000,000 will be financed with indirect costs from research grants and unrestricted funds

 

EXPLANATION: The State has not recommended any general spending authority for new construction in this biennium's Long Range Building Program submittal to the Governor. Therefore spending authority granted to the University of Montana in this request would have a corresponding reduction in General Spending Authority requested in this biennium's Long Range Building Program Request.
