Subject: Final Report on Budget Reductions

Attached is a presentation of the budget reductions for the units of the Montana University System for FY 2003. The columns on the report provide the following information for each agency: (1) the beginning appropriation for FY 2003; (2) the original 3.5% reduction decisions made by the Governor which the Board of Regents voluntarily accepted; (3) the additional reductions made by the Legislature during the Special Session; (4) the total amount of reductions for each unit; and (5) the percent of appropriated general fund that was reduced.
