Montana Teacher Licensure Clearinghouse

The MT Teacher Licensure Clearinghouse Initiative is a great resource where Montana's pre-service and in-service teachers can locate coursework needed for attaining teacher licensure and/or endorsements in many disciplines offered by 10 of Montana’s colleges & universities.

To get a Montana teaching certification, you must complete an educator preparation program. Programs are available to provide a path on how to become a teacher in Montana.  These programs can be completed as part of earning a bachelor's degree, or if you already have a bachelor's or master's degree, the program can be done separately.
